Every Tribe Entertainment was founded in 2003, and released its first motion picture, End of the Spear, in January 2006. The film debuted in the top 10 theatrical grossing films during its opening weekend. Building on this success, the DVD spent eleven weeks in the top fifty after its release and over 800,000 units have been shipped to date.
